Due to the importance of your confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients (or their parents/guardians) on any social networking site (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). I believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and our respective privacy. It may also blur the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship. If you have questions about this, please bring them up and we can talk more about it.
Gifted Healing and/or Dr. Casey may maintain social media accounts for the purposes of education or sharing resources or information. Clients are not required to follow them. Please be aware that following Gifted Healing’s or its clinician’s social media accounts may compromise your privacy and/or confidentiality if you are not using locked/private lists or RSS feeds to do so.
Please do not contact your clinician or the practice regarding your appointments or care using social media platforms, including private messaging; this is not a secure form of communication.
